Frequently Asked Questions

What is BioAction made of?
BioAction is a proprietary combination of high strength viable mixed bacterial cultures, white rot fungi enzymes, micro- and macro-nutrients, surface tension suppressors and bio-surfactants.
Is BioAction safe?
Yes; it is safe and natural. None of the bacteria have been genetically engineered. The bacteria are non-pathogenic and harmless to the environment and human life. The microorganisms pose no danger to skin, clothing, or equipment.
Has BioAction been tested?
Each product lot must pass stringent quality control tests, including tests for the presence of Salmonella, Shigella and Coliform bacteria.
How do I use BioAction?
Spray BioAction on the infected areas until it is completed covered in a heavy layer of liquid. As long as the area remains covered and moist, BioAction will continue to digest the source of the smell until there is nothing left. When it is done, the bacteria will dry up without a trace.

For first time use, BioAction should be used as a shock treatment. For one week use the product every day to really attack the source of the smell. After the shock treatment, it is recommended to continue using BioAction on a weekly routine.
What about waterless systems?
With a waterless system there are massive amounts of protein deposits that are not getting washed away on a regular basis. We salute you for making a greener choice to save water, but, we the downside is more stink.

BioAction can be used with any urinal, toilet, bidet, even the outhouse around back; just use it like you normally would.
Is there a troubleshooting guide in case I can't figure it out?
Yes. Download the PDF.
Do I need to scrub the surface?
No. The benefit of the product is that it does all the work for you. As long as the area remains covered and moist, BioAction will continue to digest the source of the smell until there is nothing left.
Will BioAction ruin the surface it is sprayed on (e.g. tile, plaster, etc…)?
No. BioAction is a bacterial culture and will only affect the protein molecules that it is able to digest.
What if I spill BioAction?
If spilled the microorganisms are easily wiped up. If the product comes in contact with the skin they can simply be washed off with soap and water.
